Information about his Birth
Rahugraj was born on 31 October 1968 in Bhadari princely state of Pratapgarh, whose father Shri Uday Pratap Singh and mother Mrs. Manjul Raje. His grandfather was Raja Bajrang Bahadur Singh, a freedom fighter and Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
Raghu raj’s father Raja Uday Pratap Singh has been an honorary officer of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. His mother Smt Manjul Raje is also from a royal family. Raja Bhaiya was the first member of his family to enter the political arena for the first time.

He started living political life for Kunda assembly constituency at the age of 26 and has won the constituency of Kund Legislative Assembly 5 times since 1993. In 1997, Kalyan Singh (Government of BJP) became Prime Minister and in 1999 Ramprakash Gupta and 2000 Cabinet Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav became Cabinet Minister in 2004 as Minister of Jail and Minister of Food and Logistics. Akhilesh’s government resigns from the cabinet in 2013.
On March 15, 2012, Raja Bhaiya again became the Minister of Prisons and Food and Logistics in the Cabinet of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. But on 2nd March 2013, in the case of a triple murder in Kunda district.

In 2002, an FIR was registered by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Mala Purna Singh Bundela for allegedly kidnapping and threatening Raja Bhai. In 2003, when Mulayam Singh Yadav came to power, Mulayam Singh dropped all POTA charges against Raja Bhai in 25 minutes. But the Supreme Court refused to dismiss the POTA charges on the state government.
He later became a powerful member of the government, but Pandey (a police officer who was raiding Raja Bhai’s house) made serious allegations against him and Campaign allegation against him. RS Pandey later died in a road accident.
He became the minister of Food and Civil Supplies in the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2004 despite pending cases oh his crime. On 3 March 2013, DSP Jia-ul-Hawk was Killed during a clash between villagers and police in Kunda.
